The base fabric in question is the Pleated Crepe Georgette - Bangkok, composed of 100% polyester, with a weight of 90 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed is a vibrant canary yellow, with a CMYK of 12-1-90-0, which means it primarily contains cyan, yellow, and magenta inks. This secondary color is very striking and cheerful, conveying the optimism and energy of the sun and light. Additionally, it pairs perfectly with neutral tones such as white, black, and gray, creating subtle and elegant contrasts.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means the color does not penetrate deeply into the fabric but is deposited on its surface. This does not affect the quality or durability of the fabric, but it is necessary to consider it when handling and washing to avoid damage.
Regarding general characteristics, the Pleated Crepe Georgette - Bangkok stands out for its pleated finish, which gives it an elegant and sophisticated look, as well as its visual and translucent texture, making it ideal for dresses, skirts, and blouses. As for the printed solid color, its intensity and brightness make it perfect for fashion garments, accessories, and even lingerie or swimwear.
Regarding the applications and uses of the base fabric, in addition to those already mentioned such as lingerie, bridal wear, and sportswear, it is also very suitable for evening dresses, blouses, scarves, and shawls. Furthermore, its pleated texture makes it especially suitable for designer garments that require volume and movement.
Regarding the care instructions, it is important not to bleach the fabric and wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It can also be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and ironed at a low temperature, avoiding the dryer to preserve its quality and texture. In addition, it is necessary to wash it separately and with similar colors, to prevent the printed solid color from transferring.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which allows for intense and vibrant colors, as well as a wide variety of designs and patterns. This process consists of printing the design onto transfer paper with special inks and then transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure, which ensures high fixation and resistance to washing and wear.
