The base fabric for this textile is Pleated Crepe Georgette-Bangkok, made of 100% polyester with a weight of 90 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is Iceberg Blue, which is achieved by the following color combination: Cyan 40, Magenta 15, Yellow 2, and Black 0 in the CMYK model.
This color is a pale blue shade, but with cold and crystalline nuances that give it a somewhat polar appearance. In terms of its symbolism, it conveys ideas of purity, cleanliness, calm, and serenity, and it is a color that pairs very well with other blue colors, such as turquoise and sky blue, as well as with white.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that the ink is applied directly to the surface of the fabric, without penetrating its fibers.
As for its characteristics, Pleated Crepe Georgette-Bangkok is a fabric with a translucent visual texture and a pleated finish that gives it an elegant and sophisticated look. It is a very versatile fabric used in multiple applications, such as bridal lingerie, dresses, skirts, blouses, scarves, handkerchiefs, and sarongs, for both women and men. Its ideal season is summer.
Regarding care for this fabric, we recommend not bleaching it, washing it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, and ironing it at a cool temperature. This fabric allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, and tumble drying is not recommended.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of a transfer by heat and pressure of the ink from a special paper sheet coated with ink to the polyester fabric, where it is permanently fixed on its surface.
