The Gasa Transparente - Salamanca is a soft and delicate fabric weighing 28 gr/m2, with a composition of 100% polyester and a width of 150 cm. The plain color printed on this fabric is a dark blue, almost cyan, which has a Cyan ink of 65%, a Magenta of 30%, a Yellow of 36% and a Black of 11%. This shade combines perfectly with pastel, pink and faint yellow tones.
It should be noted that the fabric is printed on one side by digital textile printing, so it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. As for the general characteristics of the base fabric, we can say that it is transparent and thin, with a soft touch and a perceptible visual texture.
On the other hand, the attributes of the plain color printed on the fabric give it great beauty and elegance, making it an ideal option for lingerie, wedding dresses and summer clothing in general.Speaking of the applications and uses of the fabric, there is no doubt that it is a very versatile fabric that can be used for a wide variety of fashion garments and accessories, such as scarves, skirts, sarongs, childrens dresses, etc. In addition, its delicacy and transparency make it ideal for underwear, lingerie and swimwear.
Regarding the care that should be taken with this fabric, it is important to note that it should not be bleached and that it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Dry cleaning is allowed, with the exception of trichloroethylene. Ironing should be at a cool temperature and it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which is especially used for polyester fabrics. In this process, the ink used evaporates when heat is applied, which allows it to adhere to the fabric and form a resistant and high-quality print.
