The base fabric is a transparent chiffon weighing 28 gr/m2 and 150 cm wide, composed entirely of polyester and in a pure white color. The digital textile printing uses a plain purple color, which has a mix of cyan (33%), magenta (40%), yellow (5%), and no black ink. This shade is a floral purple and inspires mysticism and spirituality. It pairs perfectly with soft tones like pink and gray, but can be contrasted with vibrant yellow for a bolder look.
This fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means the fabric was not dyed but printed on one side. This technique ensures color accuracy and design definition not achieved with traditional dyes.
Salamanca transparent chiffon offers a delicate and visually stunning texture. It is a very soft fabric to the touch, making it a popular choice for lingerie and wedding dresses. It is also suitable for skirts, scarves, swimwear, and childrens fashion. Its weight, translucency, and delicacy make it an ideal choice for the summer season.
Regarding care, the Salamanca transparent chiffon base fabric should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30 °C, bleach cannot be used, and it should air dry, avoiding tumble drying. It supports dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene, while ironing should be done at a low temperature.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which is a technique that uses ink and heat to permanently transfer the image to the fabric. This ensures that the color is resistant to fading and washing, and guarantees the visual quality of the printed design. Sublimation is widely used in digital textile printing for its precision and image quality.
