The base fabric, Transparent Gauze - Salamanca, is composed of 100% polyester, with a weight of 28 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its plain color, Sandstone Brown, is obtained by combining sublimation inks with the following values: Cyan 51, Magenta 40, Yellow 53, and Black 28, resulting in a CMYK of 51 40 53 28.
This secondary color is a warm, neutral tone that conveys a sense of elegance and sophistication. It pairs especially well with natural tones such as beige or light gray, creating harmonious and refined ensembles.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to note that this is not a dyed fabric but rather printed on one side.
The general characteristics of the base fabric and its plain color are diverse. The gauzes texture is visually transparent and, to the touch, feels delicate and light. The Sandstone Brown color appears opaque on the gauze, creating a subtle yet elegant effect.
Among the attributes of the base fabric, its applications and uses stand out, ranging from lingerie and dresses to fashion accessories and childrens clothing. The fabric is perfect for summer garments due to its lightness and breathability. It is also suitable for sportswear and swimwear, such as sarongs.
Regarding care, it is necessary to consider the manufacturers recommendations: do not bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, dry cleaning is allowed except for trichloroethylene, iron at a cool temperature, and tumble drying is not permitted.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation, a heat-based printing technique that allows the ink to set in the fabrics pores, creating a precise and durable print.
