The base fabric is Transparent Gauze - Salamanca, made of 100% polyester with a weight of 28 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed is a light green-pink, with a mix of 16% cyan ink, 3% magenta ink, 13% yellow ink, and 0% black ink, resulting in a CMYK of 16 3 13 0. This secondary color is symbolic of nature, conveying the freshness and vitality of flora and fauna. The light green-pink combines perfectly with colors such as white, black, gray, and blue. It is important to note that the fabric is printed on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that the design is only on the front and will not show through the fabric.
The general characteristics of the base fabric include its visual and tactile texture, being a thin and transparent fabric. The combination with the solid printed color results in a fresh and light feel, while its softness to the touch allows for a subtle drape in garments such as skirts and dresses. The transparent gauze base fabric is ideal for use in bridal lingerie, dresses, womens and mens fashion, accessories like scarves, and childrens clothing.
The fabric care must be precise to preserve its quality. It is not recommended to use bleach or wash at temperatures above 30ºC. It can be dry cleaned, with the exception of trichloroethylene, ironed at low temperature, and not tumble dried.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This is a process in which ink transforms into gas through heat and pressure, penetrating the fabric fibers and sealing within them. This type of printing allows for vibrant and long-lasting results, without leaving any residue or texture on the fabric surface. Furthermore, it is an environmentally friendly technique as it does not contaminate with chemical waste.
