The base fabric, Transparent Gauze - Salamanca, is a 100% polyester gauze, with a light weight of 28 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a dark green called DarkSeaGreen, with a cyan ink concentration of 33, magenta of 5, yellow of 26 and black of 0, resulting in a soft and natural tone. The combination of cyan and yellow is responsible for the greenish color, while the small amount of magenta adds subtlety. This tone combines perfectly with other greens, browns, and blues.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the color only appears on one side of the fabric and is not impregnated throughout the fiber. The texture of the base fabric is visually transparent, making it ideal for feminine garments such as lingerie or dresses, including wedding dresses. In addition, it is delicate to the touch and has a delicate appearance, making it an excellent option for skirts or even scarves and fashion accessories. Its lightness and breathability also make it suitable for use in swimwear and sarongs.
Among the care instructions for the base fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It can also be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and ironed at a low temperature. It cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used is sublimation, specific for polyester fabrics, which guarantees high image definition and vibrant colors that are impregnated into the fabric surface. This process uses special inks that, through heat, turn into gas and adhere to the fabric fiber, guaranteeing a high-quality and durable print over time.
