The base fabric for this textile is Transparent Gauze - Salamanca, with a composition of 100% polyester and a weight of 28 gr/m2. Its width is 150 cm, and it is suitable for applications in lingerie, dresses, fashion, sarongs, and accessories during the summer season. The solid color printed on this fabric is Battleship Grey, with a CMYK of 51 42 38 20. This color is a light grey tone with a subdued hue and pairs very well with pastel tones, whites, and dark greys.
It is important to note that the fabric is digitally printed with the solid color on one side only, meaning it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. In terms of its characteristics, the base fabric has a visually transparent texture and a thin feel, making it ideal for light and delicate garments. The printed color has a soft and uniform finish with a matte appearance.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, thanks to its transparency and delicacy, it is perfect for lingerie and wedding dresses. It is also used in fashion for skirts, accessories, and scarves, as well as in childrens clothing. Furthermore, its lightness and breathability make it a good option for swimwear and sarongs.
As for care, it is recommended to wash the fabric at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, avoiding bleaching or tumble drying. Additionally, it can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene and ironed at a cool temperature.
Finally, regarding the printing technology used for this fabric, it is sublimation (polyester). This technique involves transferring ink to the fabric using heat and pressure, causing the ink to turn into gas and penetrate the polyester fibers. This process ensures that the ink remains fixed in the fabric and does not fade over time.
