Velvetleaf - Dublin

The base fabric is Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane. Its grammage is 280 gr/m2 and its width is 150 cm. The plain color printed on the fabric is Pastel Blue with a CMYK of 23 14 7 0. This color conveys serenity and tranquility, but also elegance and sophistication. It combines especially well with warm tones, such as yellows, golds, or beige, but also with other cool tones like grays or dark blues.

The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. Its texture is soft and bright, transmitting sensations of luxury and comfort to the touch and to the eye.

Among the applications and uses of the base fabric are decoration and upholstery of chairs, armchairs, and sofas, as well as the manufacture of pants, overshirts, jackets, and blazers, or the production of accessories such as handbags and backpacks. Due to its grammage and texture, it is also ideal for making cushions in any part of the home, whether in the kitchen, bedroom, or living room.

It is important to consider the care instructions for the fabric, which does not allow bleaches and should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30 ºC. It cannot be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene, and it is recommended to iron at a cool temperature. Finally, the fabric is not suitable for tumble drying.

The printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of printing the design on transfer paper with special inks and then applying heat and pressure to transfer the ink to the fabric. This process ensures a durable print quality that is resistant to washing and daily use.
