The base fabric of this textile is Velveteen Corduroy - Dublin, which is composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on the fabric is a characteristic Dragon Purple, with the following CMYK ink proportions: 22% cyan, 28% magenta, 4% yellow, and 0% black. This color combines perfectly with lighter colors, such as white or pastel shades, and with blues, greens, grays, and yellows.
It is important to note that the solid color printing is done on one side of the fabric using digital textile printing, which allows for a high-quality and detailed finish. As for the general characteristics of the base fabric, we can highlight its soft touch and visual shine, which gives it an elegant and sophisticated look.
Velveteen Corduroy - Dublin is mainly used in decoration and upholstery of furniture as it is resistant and durable, but it is also used in fashion for making trousers, jackets, blazers, and coats, as well as for creating accessories such as handbags and backpacks.
It is important to consider the care instructions for the fabric, such as not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, avoiding dry cleaning, ironing at a cool temperature, and not tumble drying. Dry cleaning is recommended except for trichloroethylene.
Finally, the printing technology used is sublimation (polyester), which consists of transferring special inks from paper to fabric using heat and pressure, which guarantees high quality and durability in the print.
