The base fabric of this textile is the Velveteen Corduroy - Dublin, composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150cm. The plain color printed is Thistle Purple, with a cyan ink of 14, magenta 21, yellow 7, and black 0, with a CMYK of 14 21 7 0. This secondary color is a deep tone that symbolizes loyalty, elegance, and sophistication. It is a sweet yet fierce color that combines perfectly with shades such as light gray, beige, aubergine, or earthy colors. It is a color especially used for decoration or winter fashion.
It is worth noting that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing; it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric, it is a soft-touch velveteen corduroy with a shiny finish, ideal for decoration or upholstery of furniture, but it is also suitable for both womens and mens fashion. In addition, it is resistant and durable. As for the plain printed color, in addition to its symbolism and combinations, it stands out for its visual brilliance and tactile softness.
The Velveteen Corduroy - Dublin fabric, with its printed thistle purple, is used for various applications and uses, such as in the decoration or upholstery of chairs, armchairs, and sofas, as well as in fashion for making pants, overshirts, blazers, jackets, or coats, but also in the making of accessories such as bags or backpacks.
As for the care that this type of fabric should have, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30°C, do not dry clean (except with trichloroethylene), iron at low temperature, and do not tumble dry.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation on polyester, a process that involves the transformation of sublimable inks from a solid to a gaseous state, impregnating the fabric with these inks so that they are permanently fixed, guaranteeing high color quality and definition in the printed image.
