The base fabric of this textile is Velvet Corduroy - Dublin, composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is Ecru and Pale Silver, with a CMYK of 12 16 18 0. The secondary color, Pale Silver, represents the perfect balance between the sobriety of gray and the brightness of white, making it an elegant and sophisticated shade. This tone harmonizes with a wide range of colors such as navy blue, dark green, or even pale pink. This fabric is single-sided printed using digital textile printing, which ensures greater precision and quality in the designs.
The base fabric stands out for its softness and its characteristic shine is visually appreciable. In addition, it is resistant and has a good drape. As for the solid color, it stands out for having a shiny visual texture and a soft touch that allows the printed design to stand out even more. The attributes of the base fabric allow it to be used for a wide variety of applications and uses such as decoration, fashion, and home textiles.
Among its applications and uses, we find that it can be used for upholstery of chairs, armchairs, or sofas in decoration, or also for making pants, jackets, or blazers in fashion. In addition, it can be used to make accessories such as bags or backpacks. In the home textile sector, it can be used for cushions in bedrooms, kitchens, or living rooms, or even for baskets in living rooms or outdoors.
Regarding care, it is important to note that this fabric does not allow bleaching and that the maximum washing temperature is 30ºC. The garment does not allow dry cleaning with trichloroethylene, but it does allow dry cleaning with other products. Ironing should be at a cold temperature and the tumble dryer cannot be used.
For printing technology, sublimation (polyester) is used, a process where specialized ink is converted into gas under certain temperature and pressure conditions, penetrating the fabric fibers and allowing for precise and durable printing. This process is ideal for this type of fabric, as it allows highlighting the attributes of the base fabric and achieving a super sharp print.
