Velvetleaf - Dublin

The base fabric is a Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed is a cinnamon brown with a CMYK content of 22 51 100 13. This secondary color is characterized by its warm hue, making it ideal for adding a cozy and elegant touch to any environment. It combines particularly well with other neutral tones, such as white, gray, and beige, as well as stronger shades like olive green and navy blue.

It is important to note that the base fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is a printed fabric and not entirely dyed. The texture is characterized by being soft to the touch and having a subtle visual sheen, making it perfect for decoration and fashion projects.

Among the general characteristics of the base fabric, its resistance and durability stand out, making it ideal for upholstery and high-demand projects. In addition, its comfort and elegance allow it to be used in the manufacture of garments such as pants, jackets, and fashion accessories. Regarding the attributes of the base fabric, the applications and uses are very broad, including upholstery for chairs, sofas, and armchairs, cushions in decoration styles from rural to modern, and fashion accessories such as bags and backpacks.

The care that must be taken into account for the base fabric is not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, do not dry clean, it allows dry cleaning except trichloroethylene, cold ironing, and do not tumble dry, this ensures its durability and resistance over time.

Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation (polyester), in which it is printed on transfer paper and then the design is transferred onto the surface of the base fabric using high temperature and pressure, which guarantees high print quality and durability against washing and natural wear.
