The base fabric is Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is Raw-Moccasin, with a CMYK of 12 12 35 0. This secondary color is characterized by its warm hue, which perfectly combines with other earth tones such as beige or light brown, as well as darker shades like olive green or navy blue.
The fabric is digitally printed with the solid color on one side, which allows for a result very true to the original design and with high resolution. The general characteristics of the base fabric are defined by its soft texture and bright appearance, making it a very elegant and comfortable fabric. Moreover, the solid printed color offers great sharpness and vibrancy of colors.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric are the upholstery of chairs, sofas, and armchairs, as well as the manufacturing of winter clothing such as pants, jackets, blazers, and coats. It is also used in the making of accessories like handbags and backpacks, and in the decoration of cushions, baskets, and other home items.
Care instructions for the base fabric include not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, not dry cleaning with trichloroethylene, ironing at a cool temperature, and not tumble drying. Additionally, dry cleaning of the fabric is recommended to prolong its durability.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation on polyester, which allows the ink to set directly onto the fabric, ensuring high print quality and great durability of the printed color. It is important to note that as this is a digital textile print, the solid printed color is only on one side of the fabric and it is not a fully dyed fabric.
