The base fabric is velvety corduroy - Dublin, with a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, a weight of 280 gr/m2, and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a combination of orange and school bus yellow with an ink content of 13% cyan, 45% magenta, 82% yellow, and 3% black, resulting in a CMYK of 13 45 82 3. This color symbolizes joy and energy, and is technically characterized by its visual brightness and soft feel. It pairs well with neutral tones such as gray and beige, as well as with more intense colors like green and purple.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric, but rather printed on one side. The texture and soft feel of the velvety corduroy combine with the luminosity and brightness of the printed color, resulting in a sophisticated and modern finish.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its softness to the touch and its visual sheen. This velvety corduroy - Dublin is suitable for a wide variety of applications and uses, such as upholstering furniture, making fashion garments like pants, blazers, and jackets, and creating fashion accessories like handbags and backpacks. It is also used in home decor, for cushions in living rooms and bedrooms, as well as in baskets and other ornaments.
Regarding care, it is important not to bleach the fabric, wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, and iron it at a cool temperature. The fabric does not tolerate dry cleaning, except for trichloroethylene, and cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to create this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for precise and detailed digital textile printing on a wide variety of materials. Sublimation involves transferring the printed design directly to the fabric through a process of heat and pressure, which creates a sharp and durable image.
