The Corduroy Velvet - Dublin base fabric has a solid color printed in a milk chocolate brown tone, with a CMYK ink composition of 43 50 100 44. This color evokes a feeling of sweetness and comfort, and combines perfectly with shades such as beige, cream, and darker shades of brown. It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the print is on only one side of the fabric and does not penetrate the material.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its soft texture and visual sheen, which gives it an elegant and sophisticated touch. The Corduroy Velvet - Dublin is composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, which makes it resistant and durable for different applications. Among its main applications and uses are furniture decoration such as sofas, chairs, and armchairs, but it is also suitable for making garments such as pants, jackets, coats, or blazers. It is also used for accessories such as bags, baskets, and backpacks, and for making cushions in different areas of the house, such as the bedroom, living room, or kitchen.
Regarding the care instructions for this base fabric, it is important not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It is not suitable for dry cleaning, although dry cleaning is possible with the exception of trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried.
It should be noted that this base fabric is printed using sublimation technology (polyester), which consists of printing by passing the ink through a sublimation process that goes from a solid state to a gas without passing through the liquid state, using a sublimation printer with special inks for polyester fabrics. In this way, intense and long-lasting colors are obtained on the base fabric.
