The base fabric, Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, is composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2. The solid printed color is Gulf Blue, which has an ink mixture of 19 Cyan, 5 Magenta, 5 Yellow, and no Black ink, resulting in a CMYK of 19 5 5 0. This secondary color is described as a vibrant and deep shade of blue that resembles ocean waters. It pairs especially well with warm golden tones and looks truly elegant when combined with a lighter blue like sky blue.
It is worth noting that the base fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric, but rather printed on one side to further enhance the hue and maintain a soft, luxurious texture. The fabric has a soft texture and a brilliant visual, making it ideal for decoration and winter fashion uses.
Among the attributes of the base fabric, its multiple applications and uses stand out, such as upholstery for chairs, armchairs, and sofas, as well as the creation of trousers, jackets, blazers, overshirts, bomber jackets, vests, handbags, backpacks, and other fashion accessories. It is also suitable for outdoor use, such as in cushions and baskets.
For its care, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, avoiding bleaching and dry cleaning, except for dry cleaning with trichloroethylene. In addition, it is important to iron it at a low temperature and not tumble dry to prevent damage and deformation to the fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation, which involves transferring a printed image through heat onto the polyester base fabric. This process allows the color to adhere permanently and remain vibrant even after several washes.
