Velvetleaf - Dublin

The base fabric is Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed is a poison green obtained with cyan 53, magenta 32, yellow 91, and black 18 inks in a CMYK of 53 32 91 18. This color is vibrant and shiny, making it perfect for adding a touch of color to any garment or decoration. Poison green combines very well with other green tones and with more sober colors, such as black and gray.

The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the color is printed only on one side of the fabric and it is not a dyed fabric. Regarding its characteristics, the fabric has a soft and pleasant texture to the touch, and visually it has a brilliant finish. The solid printed color is durable and light-resistant.

Among the applications and uses of the base fabric, we can highlight the decoration and upholstery of furniture such as chairs, armchairs, and sofas, as well as the making of fashion garments such as pants, overshirts, jackets, and accessories like bags and backpacks. In addition, it can be used for making cushions and baskets for different areas of the home, including the kitchen, bedroom, and living room.

It is important to consider the care of this fabric, as it cannot be bleached or dry cleaned, but it does allow dry cleaning using trichloroethylene. The maximum washing temperature should be 30ºC, and it is recommended to iron at a cool temperature. This information should be taken into account to extend the useful life of the garment or decoration made from this fabric.

Finally, the printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation on polyester, which allows colors to adhere permanently to the fabric through dye transfer. This ensures a quality and durable finish.
