The base fabric of this composition is Velveteen Corduroy - Dublin, a corduroy composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is opaque Cyan Blue, which has a CMYK of 20 3 14 0, meaning a greater presence of cyan compared to the other colors. This color conveys serenity, freshness, and clarity, in addition to being a color that stands out for its stability and solidity. It combines perfectly with white, gray, and black tones, providing sobriety and sophistication to the overall look.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with a solid color on one side only, using digital textile printing; it is not a dyed fabric but rather printed on one side. As for the characteristics, Velveteen Corduroy - Dublin is a soft and shiny fabric to the touch and sight, making it ideal for both decoration and fashion. The printed color, for its part, stands out for its brightness and luminosity, as well as its sharpness and definition, resulting in a very professional finish.
Among the attributes of the base fabric, its wide variety of applications and uses stands out, such as decoration, upholstery for chairs, sofas or armchairs, womens/mens fashion in pants, overshirts, jackets, and blazers, as well as accessories such as bags and backpacks. It can also be used in the making of cushions, living room or bedroom baskets, and textile applications for the kitchen. Its versatility makes it a highly sought-after fabric for multiple purposes.
Regarding care, it is important to know that this fabric should not be bleached and should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It should not be dry cleaned but does allow dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene. It should be ironed at a cool temperature and cannot be tumble dried, to ensure its durability and good appearance over time.
Finally, this fabric is manufactured using sublimation printing technology (polyester), which guarantees a high-quality and durable finish, with crisp and defined colors, as well as a perfect fit to the base fabric. This technology digitally prints the desired design onto a special paper and, through heat, transfers it onto the base fabric, where it is permanently engraved.
