Velvetleaf - Dublin

The base fabric, Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, is a soft and shiny fabric composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed is dark forest green with a CMYK ink combination of 69 42 70 37. This color symbolically represents nature, stability, and strength. It pairs perfectly with earthy tones, beige, and dark yellow.

It should be noted that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which allows for a more dynamic and varied design. The texture of the fabric is soft and visually shiny, which adds a touch of elegance and sophistication.

Regarding the characteristics of the base fabric, its softness and texture make it ideal for decoration applications, upholstery for chairs, sofas, and armchairs, as well as in accessories and clothing items such as overshirts, jackets, and blazers. Additionally, it is perfect for making cushions, baskets, and backpacks.

It is important to note that the fabric requires special care, such as no bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30°C, no dry cleaning, dry cleaning allowed except with trichloroethylene, ironing at a cool temperature, and no tumble drying.

The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation. This process uses specialized ink that is printed on transfer paper and then transferred to the polyester textile material using heat and pressure. The result is a high-quality print with vibrant and durable colors that do not fade or crack with use and washing.
