The base fabric of our product is Velvet Corduroy - Dublin, composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 grams per square meter and a width of 150 centimeters. The solid color printed is turtle green, achieved by combining cyan, magenta, yellow, and black inks, with a proportion of 87-29-67-16 in the CMYK system.
This secondary color is characterized by being fresh and elegant, with greenish tones that evoke the sea and nature. It combines perfectly with other shades of green, beige, brown, and gold, as well as with more vibrant colors such as red or orange, creating a wide variety of interesting and timeless combinations.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which gives it great quality and sharpness in the printing details. The texture of Velvet Corduroy - Dublin is soft to the touch and bright to the eye, offering great quality and resistance to deformation.
Regarding the general characteristics of both the base fabric and the printed solid color, we can highlight their durability, abrasion resistance, and ease of keeping them clean and in good condition.
As for the applications and uses of the base fabric, we can highlight its versatility and ability to adapt to different areas. Thus, we can use it to upholster chairs, armchairs, and sofas, with cushions and baskets to decorate different spaces, as well as to make fashion garments for women and men, from trousers to jackets, blazers, and coats, and accessories such as handbags and backpacks.
It is important to note that Velvet Corduroy - Dublin is a delicate fabric that requires specific care to keep it in good condition. Bleaching should be avoided, it does not allow dry cleaning with trichloroethylene, the maximum washing temperature is 30ºC, and it should be ironed at a cool temperature. Tumble drying is not recommended.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture the fabric is sublimation on polyester, which consists of transferring a printed image through heat and pressure to the fabric surface, achieving high quality and sharpness in the print.
