The Corduroy Velvety - Dublin base fabric is a 280 gr/m2 corduroy, composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane. The plain color printed on this fabric is an elegant silk blue, with an ink composition of Cyan 72, Magenta 34, Yellow 2, and Black 0 (72 34 2 0 in CMYK). This color is characterized by its subtlety and combinations with neutral and cool tones, making it especially suitable for modern and minimalist interiors. The ideal combination for this plain color is with whites, grays, blacks, and bluish-green or grayish tones, achieving excellent and sophisticated harmony. This fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which makes it unique and attractive, as although the visual effect of the color is vibrant, the soft texture of the fabric asserts its elegance and quality.
Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric, its soft texture and bright appearance stand out, making it ideal for decoration and fashion. Its applications are numerous and varied, from sofas, armchairs, and chairs in the field of decoration, to pants, overshirts, jackets, blazers, and accessories in the field of fashion. In addition, this fabric is suitable for cushions in different rooms of the home, such as the kitchen, bedroom, or living room, as well as for baskets. It is a versatile and durable fabric that adapts to different tastes and styles.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the garment and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC to avoid possible damage to the integrity of the fabric. In addition, the garment does not allow dry cleaning, except for trichloroethylene, so it is important to take this specification into account. Finally, the ironing temperature should be cool, and a tumble dryer should not be used.
Regarding printing technology, the sublimation technique (polyester) is used to print the plain color on the base fabric. This technique allows high-quality designs to be printed with precise colors and details, thanks to the transfer of ink with heat onto the fabric surface. In this way, high-quality and high-resolution digital textile printing is achieved, maintaining the softness and texture inherent to the fabric.
