The Velvety Corduroy - Dublin is a fabric composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its solid printed color is pale Lilac Blue, with a combination of 17% Cyan ink, 11% Magenta ink, 2% Yellow ink, and 0% Black ink, representing the CMYK specification of 17 11 2 0. The color presents a brilliant visual texture that integrates perfectly with other colors, such as gray and earthy tones.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but rather printed on one side. The fabric has soft characteristics and a pleasant feel against the skin. In addition, its velvety visual gives it a sophisticated and elegant appearance.
The applications and uses of the base fabric are broad and diverse. It is used for decorating furniture such as chairs, armchairs, and sofas, as well as in the creation of clothing items such as trousers, jackets, blazers, coats, and vests. It can also be used in making accessories such as bags, backpacks, and overshirts. In home textiles, this fabric is used for making cushions in different parts of the house, such as the kitchen and bedroom.
It is important to note that this fabric requires specific care for proper conservation. It should be washed below 30ºC and ironed at a cool temperature. Exposure to bleach is not recommended, nor is dry cleaning with trichloroethylene. If necessary, dry cleaning is allowed, although caution should be exercised.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This technique uses a heat process to transfer ink in gas form to the fabric fibers, penetrating them for a high-fidelity result in the reproduction of the colors and shapes of the printed design. The final result is a soft and durable fabric, with a vibrant color resistant to wear and tear.
