The base fabric, Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, is a corduroy composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is Purple, Purple Sage Bush, with CMYK values of 43 36 5 0. This color conveys feelings of elegance and sophistication, evoking mystery and creativity. Furthermore, it combines very well with reddish tones, such as crimson, and with white. The fabric is digitally printed on one side using textile digital printing.
The base fabric features a soft texture and touch, as well as a brilliant visual that gives it a velvety effect. As for the solid color, it exhibits excellent saturation, depth, and definition that highlight its beauty and elegance. It is ideal for fashion pieces such as pants, jackets, or accessories, as well as for decorating furniture like sofas or armchairs, and cushions.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric, decoration, upholstery for chairs, armchairs, or sofas, fashion garments such as overshirts or blazers, accessories like bags or backpacks, and home textiles in the making of cushions and baskets stand out. Velvety corduroy - Dublin brings elegance and sophistication to any design, whether for interiors, fashion, or accessories.
It is important to consider the care instructions for the base fabric, which does not allow bleaching or dry cleaning, but does allow dry cleaning with the exception of trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature, and tumble drying is not recommended.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a process by which ink is printed onto transfer paper, which is then fixed onto the fabric fibers by heat and pressure. Sublimation allows for vibrant and durable colors without losing the corduroys inherent texture and softness.
