The base fabric of the velvety corduroy - Dublin has a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, a weight of 280 gr/m2, and a width of 150 cm. Its solid color, printed on one side using digital textile printing, is a beautiful purple sage bush, with a CMYK of 58 56 6 0. This secondary color symbolizes dignity, aristocracy, and creativity. It pairs perfectly with emerald green, gold, and silver.
The base fabric has a soft texture to the touch and a spectacular visual sheen. The printed solid color, on the other hand, has an intense chromatic vibration and a glossy finish. The fabric is intended for decorative uses, upholstery for chairs, armchairs, and sofas, as well as for making trousers, overshirts, jackets, blazers, bomber jackets, vests, cushions, baskets, and accessories such as handbags and backpacks.
Among the attributes of the base fabric are its wear resistance and durability. It is also ideal for interior decoration thanks to its beauty and versatility. Some additional applications and uses include wall upholstery, curtains, and blinds, among others.
The care instructions for this fabric are important to ensure its long durability and good appearance. It is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30º, do not dry clean, except for dry cleaning with trichloroethylene. Iron at low temperature and do not tumble dry.
The printing technology used to print the solid color on this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This technique consists of a chemical reaction that allows the pigments to fuse with the materials fibers, creating a high-quality, resistant, and very durable print that does not lose its brilliance or intensity over time.
