The base fabric, Dublin velvet corduroy, has a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its solid printed color is purple sage bush, with a CMYK of 73 73 7 0. This color is symbolic, evoking mystery, creativity, and spirituality, while technically it is a medium, saturated, and bright color point that combines well with pastel tones, grays, and muted greens.
It is important to note that, although the base fabric undergoes a textile digital printing process, it is a single-sided printed fabric and not dyed. The texture and feel are soft and velvety, while the printed color adds shine to the surface.
Among the general characteristics of this base fabric, its durability, comfort, and elegance stand out. Among its wide applications, we find upholstery for sofas and chairs, cushions, baskets, pants, jackets, blazers, bomber jackets, and bags, both in decoration and fashion and accessories.
To properly care for the fabric, it is recommended not to bleach or wash at a temperature higher than 30ºC, dry cleaning with trichloroethylene and the use of a dryer are discouraged, while it can be dry cleaned and ironed at low temperature.
The printing technology used in the production of this fabric is sublimation on polyester, which allows for high-quality and durable color fixation, as well as an exact reproduction of any design to be printed on it.
