Velvetleaf - Dublin

The base fabric is a Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The plain printed color is Goose Grey, characterized by a combination of 18% Cyan ink, 15% Magenta, 16% Yellow, and 0% black ink (CMYK: 18 15 16 0). This shade of grey is associated with elegance and sobriety and combines with other colors such as white, black, red, green, and pink.

This fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side, allowing the color to be more uniform and stable.

General characteristics of the base fabric include a soft texture to the touch and a visually bright appearance, which adds elegance and sophistication. In addition, this fabric is suitable for use in various types of applications and uses, such as: decoration, upholstery, fashion, accessories, among others.

Among the applications and uses of this base fabric, its use for furniture upholstery, such as chairs, armchairs, and sofas, stands out, as its velvety texture and soft touch provide greater comfort and elegance to the environment. It is also ideal for making fashion garments such as pants, jackets, blazers, and coats, as well as for accessories such as handbags and backpacks.

Regarding the care that should be taken for the fabric, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, do not dry clean except with trichloroethylene, iron at a cool temperature, and do not tumble dry.

The base fabric is manufactured using sublimation printing technology, which allows the transfer of the printed design by applying heat and pressure to the fabric, achieving greater color fixation and durability. In addition, sublimation printing allows for greater definition of designs and greater color performance, which gives the fabric a brighter and visually more attractive appearance.
