The base fabric of this textile is Paño - Glasgow, composed mainly of polyester (93%) and other materials such as viscose (5%) and elastane (2%). Its weight of 380 gr/m2 and width of 150 cm make it a strong and resistant fabric with good drape. The solid printed color is a combination of Purple and Lavender Blue, with a Cyan proportion of 24, Magenta of 19, Yellow of 6, and Black of 0, representing a soft and subtle tone that evokes tranquility and calm. This secondary color works very well with other similar shades in the purple and blue range, creating balanced and harmonious compositions.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing technology. The combination of the quality of the base fabric and the resolution of the printing technology results in a high-quality fabric with a crisp and durable printed image. The general characteristics of Paño - Glasgow are its softness to the touch, thanks to the elastane in its composition, its wear resistance, and its ability to adapt to different finishes in garment making.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric are: upholstery, altars, mens and womens fashion, such as coats, jackets, vests, and blazers, as well as in the manufacture of home fashion accessories, such as coasters and kitchen cloths. Thanks to its weight, it is ideal for winter and autumn/winter 2021 garments, providing great protection against the cold.
Regarding care instructions, it is recommended to wash the garment at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and iron at a warm temperature. It should not be bleached, dry cleaned, or tumble dried. By following these recommendations, the fabric will retain its original characteristics and luster.
Finally, the printing technology used is sublimation, which consists of applying heat and pressure to the surface of the printed fabric so that the pigments permanently adhere to the base fabric. This process allows for high fidelity in the reproduction of the printed image, obtaining vibrant and deep colors.
