Glasgow Cloth is a broadcloth-type fabric with a composition of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a Purple with Dragon Purple shades, with a CMYK of 22 28 4 0. The secondary color has great symbolism, being associated with luxury, introspection, and creativity, as well as the mysterious magic that accompanies the dragon. This color combines especially well with other soft tones like beige, white, and gray.
It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that the design has been printed only on one side of the fabric and has not been dyed. The fabric is characterized by having a soft texture to the touch and a subtle sheen that provides elegance and sophistication.
Among the applications for this fabric are altars, coats and trench coats, coasters, jackets and vests, blazers, jackets, as well as kitchen towels. Additionally, this type of fabric is ideal for use in winter and autumn/winter 2021 seasons.
To maintain the quality of the fabric, it is important to consider some care instructions, such as washing at a maximum of 40ºC and ironing at a warm temperature. Furthermore, it should not be bleached or tumble dried, and the garment does not allow dry cleaning.
Finally, this fabric has been manufactured using sublimation technology, which ensures excellent resolution and color quality, with great durability and resistance to washing. With this technique, any design can be printed on the fabric, thanks to the application of special inks that evaporate directly from solid to gas without passing through the liquid state.
