Description

The base fabric of this textile is Glasgow cloth, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is a desert sand brown, with a CMYK of 18-26-31-3. This secondary color is symbolic of the warm, dry desert earth, combining perfectly with colors such as olive green, terracotta red, dark brown, and burnt orange.

It is important to emphasize that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that the print is sharp and of high quality, but it is only present on one side of the fabric. Regarding general characteristics, this fabric has a soft texture to the touch, making it pleasant and comfortable to use.

Among the attributes of the base fabric, we find various applications and uses for this type of textile. In addition to its use in fashion, for making coats, trenches, jackets, or blazers, this type of cloth is ideal for home textiles such as coasters or in the kitchen for cleaning cloths. It is also popular in the religious field for making altar cloths.

It is important to consider the care instructions to preserve the quality of this fabric. It is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and iron at a warm temperature, avoiding dry cleaning and tumble drying.

Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a process in which the dye turns into gas and adheres directly to the fibers of the fabric, which guarantees a high-quality print with vibrant and durable colors. With this technology, sharp and precise designs can be printed, making the fabrics perfect for high-quality applications in fashion and home textiles.
