Description

Glasgow cloth is a broadcloth fabric composed of 93% POLYESTER, 5% VISCOSE, and 2% ELASTANE, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on the fabric is a Taupe Gray, with a CMYK of 62, 48, 63, 47. This color conveys an air of sophistication and elegance, and complements very well with neutral tones such as beige or dark brown.

The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the print is made only on one side of the fabric, and does not penetrate the fabric fibers. The texture of the fabric is soft to the touch, which makes it very pleasant to wear, and the blend of polyester, viscose, and elastane gives it great strength and durability.

Among the applications and uses that can be given to this fabric are, for example, in fashion for making coats and trench coats, jackets and vests, blazers and jackets. It can also be used in home textiles, such as coasters and kitchen towels. The fabric season is mainly winter and autumn/winter 2021.

Regarding the care instructions, it is important not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, iron it at a warm temperature, and do not tumble dry. The garment is not suitable for dry cleaning.

The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a process that allows high-quality and durable designs to be printed on polyester fabrics. During the sublimation process, the ink turns into vapor and penetrates the fabric fibers, which makes it resistant even to washing.
