The base fabric of this textile is called Paño - Glasgow and is composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is platinum gray, with a CMYK of 13 9 9 0, giving it a grayish hue with silvery highlights. This color symbolizes elegance, sophistication, and modernity. Combined with other colors, such as white and black, it provides a subtle and balanced contrast.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the print does not penetrate the fabric fibers but rather remains on its surface. The fabrics texture is soft to the touch and has a rustic appearance that gives it character.
Regarding general characteristics, the base fabric is resistant, durable, and high-quality, ideal for clothing and home textile items. The solid color print has great intensity and vibrancy, which gives personality and distinction to any garment or item made with this fabric.
Among the most common applications and uses for this fabric are the manufacture of coats, trenches, vests, blazers, and jackets, as well as its use in kitchen and dining textiles, such as cloths and coasters. Finally, it is important to note that the fabric should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, should not be bleached, and should be ironed at a warm temperature.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of printing the image onto a transfer paper and transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure. This ensures that the image is permanently imprinted on the fabrics surface with great precision in details and colors.
