This base fabric is Glasgow Cloth. It is a cloth fabric composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its plain printed color is a sandstone brown, represented by a cyan ink of 51, a magenta of 40, a yellow of 53, and a black of 28, resulting in a CMYK color profile of 51 40 53 28. This color has a warm touch that makes it perfect for the autumn/winter season. It is a very versatile shade that can be combined with other browns, grays, and greens to create a variety of styles.
The base fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing. The fabric is not dyed, but rather printed on one side, so it is important to consider this detail if planning to use the fabric in garments that require the hem to be visible.
The texture and feel of this fabric are soft, which makes it very pleasant to the touch and comfortable to wear. Additionally, it is resistant and durable, making it an excellent choice for outerwear and upholstery.
Among the applications and uses of Glasgow Cloth, its use in altars, coats/trench coats, coasters, jackets/vests, blazers, jackets, and kitchen towels stands out. This fabric is an excellent choice for high-quality outerwear and home decoration.
For the care of this fabric, it is necessary not to bleach it and to wash it at maximum temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius. The garment does not allow dry cleaning and ironing at a warm temperature is recommended. In addition, it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation. This technology creates a digital print of the desired design on the fabric, ensuring that the color and details are perfectly represented on the fabric.
