The base fabric of this textile is Paño - Glasgow, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2. Its width is 150 cm and it is a soft-touch fabric. The solid color printed on this fabric is purple, with a medium purple tone, obtained by combining cyan, magenta, and yellow inks in proportions of 35, 40, and 5 respectively, resulting in a CMYK of 35, 40, 5, 0.
This shade of purple is rich and sophisticated, ideal for elegant and modern fashion garments and home textiles. It combines very well with tones such as grey, pink, fuchsia, and neutral tones like white and black.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric, but rather printed on one side.
Regarding general characteristics, this fabric is ideal for winter and autumn/winter 2021 garments, due to its high density and resistance. Additionally, thanks to its composition, it is a strong and durable fabric that does not easily deform and is easy to work with.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric, outerwear such as coats, jackets, and blazers stand out, but it can also be used in home textiles like coasters and kitchen towels. It is also a popular choice for altar cloths, thanks to its elegance and sophistication.
Regarding fabric care, it is important to follow these instructions: avoid bleaching, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, iron at a warm temperature, and do not tumble dry. Furthermore, the garment does not allow dry cleaning.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation on polyester, which allows ink to be transferred to the fabric through heat and pressure, obtaining a sharp and high-quality result.
