Description

The base fabric is a luxurious blend of polyester, viscose, and elastane known as Glasgow Cloth. Its plain printed color is Iris Purple, which is obtained by combining cyan, magenta, and yellow ink in a ratio of 76%, 95%, and 4% respectively, with no black ink. This secondary color conveys a sense of mystery, creativity, and spirituality, and is known for its ability to stimulate imagination and intuition. This shade can pair well with nuances of blue, pink, and green. It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the plain color on one side only, using high-quality digital textile printing.

Regarding general characteristics, Glasgow Cloth is a fabric with a density of 380 gr/m2, a soft texture, and a comfortable feel. Its width of 150 cm makes it perfect for various applications and uses, from fashion to home textiles. Among its wide variety of applications, it stands out for making coats, trench coats, jackets, and vests, as well as kitchen towels and coasters for decoration. Furthermore, this fabric is specially designed for cold climates, making it an ideal choice for the winter and autumn/winter 2021 season.

It is important to consider the special care required for this fabric to prolong its lifespan. It should be washed at no more than 40°C, no bleaching agents should be used, and dry cleaning or tumble drying is not recommended. It can be ironed at a warm temperature, preferably inside out, in order to protect the printed color.

Finally, the printing technology used for the creation of this fabric is polyester sublimation, which allows for high print quality with vibrant colors and resistance to fading and wear. In short, Glasgow Cloth printed in Iris Purple is an elegant, versatile, and high-quality option for various applications and uses in fashion and home, which can be easily cared for and maintained thanks to its characteristics and special care instructions.
