Description

The base fabric is Glasgow cloth, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is a deep red with burnt pink undertones, with a CMYK ink combination of 30 95 33 24. In terms of its general characteristics, the fabric is soft to the touch with a pleasant texture. The printed solid color is vibrant and durable, adding great intensity to any garment or decorative piece in which it is used. The base fabric is versatile and suitable for a variety of applications, including winter and autumn/winter fashion, outerwear, and home accessories such as coasters and kitchen towels.

Since the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing, it is important to note that the print is only on one side of the fabric and the other side remains blank. It is also important to be careful when washing the fabric, avoiding bleach and dry cleaning, and ironing at a warm temperature.

Regarding the applications and uses of the base fabric, in addition to what has already been mentioned, Glasgow cloth is suitable for making bomber jackets and jackets, as well as blazers and trench coats. The fabric is also often used in the manufacture of altar cloths due to its elegance and durability.

The printing method used in the manufacture of this fabric is polyester sublimation, which allows for vibrant and durable printing on a wide variety of fabrics and materials. This process is carried out by applying heat and pressure to the ink, which causes it to turn into a gas and penetrate the surface of the fabric, producing a high-quality and resistant print. Thanks to printing technology, designs can be highly detailed and precise, allowing for a wide range of design options for the fabric.
