Glasgow Cloth is a high-quality fabric, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a density of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is pink with a slight blush red tone, whose CMYK is 17 70 35 4. This color evokes romance and elegance, and combines well with neutral or gray tones to create a subtle and sophisticated ambiance.
The secondary color of pink is white, which allows it to be combined with fabrics of the same hue, grays, and light blues. This enables the creation of chic and elegant outfits, perfect for a formal or casual event. The fabric is single-sided printed using digital textile printing, which means the color is fixed and protected.
Among the characteristics of the fabric, its softness stands out, making it an elegant and comfortable fabric. Additionally, the fabric has a texture that aids in the printing of the design, giving it superior image quality. Glasgow Cloth is suitable for a wide range of applications, from textiles for religious altars, through womens and mens fashion, to home textiles. In particular, it is excellent for making coats, jackets, and blazers.
Regarding care, it is important to avoid bleaching and not dry clean the garment. It should also be ironed at a warm temperature and tumble drying should be avoided. As it is a high-quality fabric, its durability is ensured as long as it is properly cared for.
The printing technology applied to this fabric is sublimation, which is applied using a specialized printer that uses sublimation ink that turns into gas when heated to a high temperature, and adheres to the surface of the fabric. The advantage of this technology is that it produces a high-quality design, with sharp colors resistant to washing and use.
