The base fabric Paño - Glasgow is a broadcloth composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its solid printed color is grapefruit orange with a CMYK of 16 77 92 5. This secondary color can be described as a warm and vibrant tone that evokes vitality and energy. It combines particularly well with neutral tones such as gray or brown, as well as with complementary tones such as green or blue.
It is important to mention that the base fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but rather printed on one side. This provides high quality in terms of definition and sharpness of the print.
The general characteristics of the base fabric can be described as soft to the touch and with a smooth texture. Additionally, it is a resistant and durable fabric, ideal for outerwear such as coats, jackets, or blazers. It is also suitable for making decorative items such as coasters or kitchen textiles.
Regarding the applications and uses of the base fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, it can be used for upholstering seats, cushions, or workspaces. It is highly recommended for the winter and autumn/winter 2021 season.
It is important to consider some specific care instructions for the Paño - Glasgow base fabric, such as not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, not dry cleaning, ironing at a warm temperature, and not tumble drying.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which uses special inks that evaporate and adhere to the fabric fibers, creating durable and high-quality designs.
