The base fabric is a Glasgow cloth composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is soft ivory white, with a CMYK of 4 9 18 0, printed on one side by digital textile printing. The secondary color is a soft, warm tone that evokes nature, and that combines especially well with green and brown tones.
In terms of general characteristics, the base fabric has a soft and pleasant texture to the touch, which makes it a comfortable fabric to wear in contact with the skin. On the other hand, the solid printed color is presented uniformly and sharply, which guarantees a high-quality finish. In addition, Glasgow cloth is a resistant and durable fabric, which adapts well to different types of applications and uses.
Among the most frequent applications of this fabric are the manufacture of outerwear, such as coats, trench coats, jackets or blazers, as well as coasters for dining room decoration and blazers for the fashion sector. It is also perfect for use in altars and for making kitchen cloths, thanks to its resistance and durability.
It is important to take into account the care required for the base fabric, which does not allow bleaching or dry cleaning, and which should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It is recommended to iron at a warm temperature and avoid tumble drying.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation on polyester, which allows for high-quality and durable digital printing, and which guarantees a uniform and precise finish. This technique allows the printed color to penetrate the fabric fiber, which makes it resistant to friction and washing.
