The Glasgow Cloth is a fabric composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a fabric width of 150 cm. Its solid printed color is a hazelnut brown, composed of a CMYK ink combination of 27 cyan, 39 magenta, 78 yellow, and 16 black. This secondary color symbolizes earth and security, and combines well with shades of gray, beige, and military green.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. It is soft to the touch and its texture makes it ideal for coats, trench coats, as well as coasters and kitchen towels. Additionally, it is an excellent option for jackets, blazers, and blazers due to its resistance and durability.
Regarding care, it is recommended to wash at no more than 40ºC without bleach, iron at a warm temperature, and do not dry clean. It cannot be tumble dried either.
The printing technology used is polyester sublimation, which allows for high-quality printing through the use of special ink and a heat process that fixes the image and makes it resistant to fading and wear. This technology is used to create patterns and designs on textiles, and is an excellent option for achieving high-quality and durable prints on fabrics such as Glasgow Cloth.
