Description

The base fabric is Glasgow cloth, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose and 2% elastane, with a grammage of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The Tulip pink color is printed on this fabric with a chromatic ink of 20 cyan, 63 magenta, 38 yellow and 7 black (CMYK: 20 63 38 7). It is a pink that conveys delicacy and femininity, but without being cloying. It is a soft tone that can lead us to think of a spring or celestial environment.

The secondary color, Tulip pink, is associated with generosity, gratitude and affection. This tone is related to sweetness and warmth. In terms of color combination, it is common to use pink together with neutral tones such as white, gray and black, although it can also be mixed with blues and greens. It is a versatile color, which can be used in both clothing and home textile products.

The base fabric is printed on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the fabric is not dyed, but the color is printed on one side of the fabric with a specialized printer. The texture of the base fabric is soft to the touch, which makes it comfortable to wear and pleasant in contact with the skin.

Among the attributes of the base fabric, the applications and uses stand out, which may vary. In this case, Glasgow fabric is mainly used to create garments such as coats, trench coats, jackets, vests and blazers for both women and men. It can also be used for home textile products, such as coasters and kitchen towels. Thanks to its composition, the fabric is resistant and durable, making it ideal for garments that require some protection against cold or wear.

Regarding the care of the fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it or subject it to temperatures above 40ºC when washing. In addition, the garment does not allow dry cleaning, nor can it be tumble dried. As for ironing, it should be done at a warm temperature so as not to damage the fabric.

Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, a technique that uses a specialized machine to print the fabric design on a layer of paper. Heat and pressure are then applied to transfer the design from the paper to the fabric, creating a permanent and high-quality result.
