Description

The base fabric of this textile is Glasgow Cloth, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a Light Violet Blue, made up of a mix of Cyan Ink (62%), Magenta Ink (40%), and Yellow Ink (5%), with a CMYK of 62 40 5 0. This color presents a soft, velvety texture, which makes it especially cozy and elegant. Light Violet Blue is a very versatile shade, pairing particularly well with a wide variety of neutral tones, from grays and whites to soft browns and beiges.

This fabric is single-sided printed using digital textile printing technology, meaning the color has been applied only to one side of the fabric, without penetrating its structure. As for the general characteristics of the base fabric, its softness to the touch and durability stand out, making it ideal for a wide variety of applications and uses. These range from making coats and apparel to creating coasters and other decorative home elements, such as curtains and cushions.

Regarding the care required for this fabric, it is important to avoid bleaching and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. This fabric is not suitable for dry cleaning and it is recommended to iron it at a warm temperature, avoiding the use of a tumble dryer.

The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which is particularly suitable for printing on polyester fabrics. In this process, the ink is applied to transfer paper and transferred to the fabric by applying heat and pressure, ensuring high print quality and excellent color fixation.
