The base fabric is Paño - Glasgow, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its solid printed color is Ivy Blue, with a CMYK of 84 39 13 2. This color is characterized by being a fresh and natural tone that evokes nature and serenity. Its blue hue is soft and pleasing to the eye, with a touch of green that makes it unique. It combines perfectly with neutral tones such as white, beige, and gray, as well as with more vibrant tones such as red or orange.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the ink is transferred directly onto the fabric without the need for pre-dyeing. This allows for great precision in designs and a wider variety of colors, as well as greater efficiency and speed in the production process.
The fabrics texture is soft to the touch and pleasant against the skin, making it an ideal choice for clothing items such as coats, jackets, blazers, and bomber jackets. Additionally, its weight makes it perfect for other textile applications such as coasters or altar textiles. It is an ideal fabric for use in winter and autumn/winter 2021.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric, fashion stands out, for both women and men, and home textiles, particularly for the dining room and kitchen. In the case of clothing, it is ideal for outer garments such as coats and jackets, while in the case of home textiles, it can be used for coasters, kitchen tablecloths, and dishcloths.
It is important to consider the necessary care for this fabric, which includes not bleaching, not dry cleaning, ironing at a warm temperature, and not tumble drying. As always, we recommend reading the garments care labels before washing or handling it.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation on polyester. This method allows the colors impregnated in the fabric to merge with it at a molecular level, guaranteeing durability and wear resistance. Furthermore, digital textile printing offers greater versatility and speed in production, making it an ideal option for small runs or personalized designs.
