The base fabric is Glasgow cloth, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its solid printed color is blue, with a CMYK of 89 48 29 13, which represents a deep, muted blue. This color combines perfectly with grey, beige, and white tones to give it an elegant and sophisticated touch. The fabric is digitally printed with the solid color on one side using textile digital printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed through sublimation technology (polyester).
The softness and feel of the fabric are some of its main characteristics, making it ideal for making outerwear such as coats, trench coats, jackets, and blazers, as well as for making home textiles, such as cloths and coasters. In addition, its weight and composition make it suitable for use in altar cloths.
Regarding care, it is recommended to wash the garment at a maximum temperature of 40°C, iron it at a warm temperature, and not bleach it. The garment is not suitable for dry cleaning and cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, a process in which a special ink is used that turns into gas when activated by heat and pressure, causing the ink to go from solid to gas without passing through the liquid state. Through this process, the ink is printed on the fabric, creating a durable color resistant to fading and washing.
