The base fabric is Paño - Glasgow, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is white with a touch of soft ivory, whose CMYK is 1 1 9 0, highlighting the presence of yellow ink. This soft yellow is a secondary color that evokes clarity and happiness, and combines especially well with grayish and blue tones. It is important to note that digital textile printing is only applied to one side of the fabric, without altering the soft texture of the base fabric.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its softness to the touch and its ability to maintain its shape and weight over time. The solid printed color, in addition to being resistant, is durable and will not fade easily. Regarding its applications and uses, this fabric is especially recommended for making coats, jackets, blazers, and jackets for both women and men, giving a distinctive touch to the garment. It can also be used for interior decoration, such as in the creation of coasters for the dining room and kitchen towels. Its main season is winter and autumn/winter 2021.
To keep the fabric in good condition, it is important to follow the recommended care instructions. These include washing the garment at a temperature no higher than 40ºC, ironing at a warm temperature, and not tumble drying. It is important not to bleach and note that dry cleaning is not allowed.
The printing technology used for the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation. This process involves the use of special inks that vaporize and solidify at high temperatures to permanently bond with the fibers of the fabric, thus achieving a durable and resistant print. Thanks to this printing process, vibrant and detailed colors can be obtained that do not lose quality over time.
