The base fabric is Paño - Glasgow, with a composition of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane. It has a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a fabric width of 150 cm. This fabric is ideal for outerwear and interior decoration. The solid color printed is Banana Yellow, with an ink mixture of 20% cyan, 9% magenta, 96% yellow, and 1% black, giving a CMYK of 20 9 96 1. This color is an intense and warm yellow, evoking the brightness of the sun and joy. It is a secondary color that combines very well with other warm colors, such as reds and oranges, as well as with gray and brown shades that neutralize its intensity.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing, meaning it is not a dyed fabric, but rather the color is applied only to the printed side. As for its general characteristics, Paño - Glasgow is soft to the touch and has a pleasant texture. It is a resistant and durable material, with an appropriate weight for making outerwear and decorative accessories such as cushions and curtains. Its application extends to fashion, with coats and jackets made from this fabric, and interior decoration, including coasters and curtains.
Regarding fabric care, it is important not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. This garment does not allow dry cleaning and should be ironed at a warm temperature. Likewise, it is recommended not to put it in the dryer to prolong its useful life.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation on polyester. This technique involves applying sublimation ink to paper and then transferring it through heat and pressure to the base fabric. The ink turns into gas when subjected to heat, allowing it to penetrate and fix onto the polyester fibers. The result is a soft and wash-resistant finish, with a vibrant and durable color palette.
