Description

The base fabric is a high-quality cloth called Glasgow, composed mainly of polyester (93%), viscose (5%), and elastane (2%), with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Additionally, its plain printed color is a dark moccasin green, with the following ink proportions: 50 cyan, 39 magenta, 100 yellow, and 29 black, which are reflected in its CMYK representation (50 39 100 29). This color has a symbolism strongly associated with nature and elegance, being a tone that conveys tranquility, well-being, and sophistication. This color combines especially well with raw, grey, and dark blue tones, creating a very balanced aesthetic.

It is important to note that the base fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, meaning it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. This printing technique allows for sharper and more vibrant colors, as well as facilitating the printing of complex and detailed designs.

Among the general characteristics of the base fabric, its softness to the touch stands out, making it very comfortable and pleasant against the skin. Furthermore, its weight and composition are ideal for making mens and womens outerwear, blazers, jackets, anoraks, trench coats, and textile home accessories such as coasters and kitchen towels. Likewise, due to its high quality and resistance, it is also used in other areas, such as in the making of altar cloths.

Regarding the care this fabric should receive, it is recommended to avoid the use of bleach and dry cleaning, as well as washing it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and ironing it at a warm temperature. A dryer should not be used for drying, as it could affect its properties and quality.

Finally, this fabric is manufactured using sublimation printing technology (polyester), a process that transfers ink from paper to fabric through the action of heat and pressure, ensuring an optimal and long-lasting result. This technique allows for the creation of personalized designs with very precise details, making it one of the preferred options in the manufacture of fabrics for fashion and home.
