The base fabric is Glasgow cloth, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is frog green, with a CMYK of 25 3 36 0, representing a natural and fresh hue ideal for the autumn and winter season. The frog green color is symbolically associated with life and renewal, and technically characterized by being an intermediate tone with balanced inks.
The base fabric, digitally printed with the solid color on one side, maintains its softness to the touch thanks to the textural characteristics of the Glasgow cloth. This fabric is ideal for garments such as autumn and winter coats, trenches, jackets, and blazers, as well as for making household items like coasters and kitchen towels. The frog green color is very versatile, combining very well with earthy, brown, and gray tones, in contrast with ochre and beige tones perfect for balancing the color palette.
To maintain the quality of this fabric, it is important to follow certain recommended care instructions. This fabric should not be bleached, and washing should be done at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. In addition, the garment does not allow dry cleaning and should be ironed at a warm temperature. Tumble drying is not recommended for this fabric.
The printing technology used to produce this fabric is sublimation, a technique in which polyester is used as a base to adhere the ink to the fabric, creating a more durable image resistant to washing and wear. This technique consists of transferring the color from a printed sheet to a layer of polyester, generating an image that is permanently fixed to the fabric.
