Description

Glasgow fabric is a high-quality textile with a composition of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, weighing 380 gr/m2 and with a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is seaweed green, with a mixture of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black inks in proportions 67 18 96 3 (CMYK). This color is symbolic of nature and evokes tranquility and serenity. Additionally, due to its hue, it pairs particularly well with other warm colors such as brown or gray.

It should be noted that Glasgow fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but rather printed on one side. Its texture is soft to the touch, making it ideal for outerwear and home accessories. The fabric is resistant and durable, allowing it to be used for various applications.

Among the applications for this fabric are altars, coats, jackets, blazers, coasters, and kitchen towels. In the winter and autumn/winter 2021 seasons, Glasgow fabric is an excellent option for sewing projects that require high-quality and resistant fabrics.

It is important to consider the special care this fabric requires. It is recommended not to bleach the garment, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not dry clean, iron at a warm temperature, and do not tumble dry. If these recommendations are followed, the garment will maintain its soft texture and vibrant color for longer.

The printing technology used to manufacture Glasgow fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows the printed design to be transferred from transfer paper to the fabric using heat and pressure, achieving high quality and durability in the print. This technique allows for the creation of personalized designs with a wide range of colors and details, which is ideal for unique and exclusive sewing projects.
