The base fabric of this textile is Glasgow cloth, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its plain printed color is a cranberry blue, with a CMYK combination of 97 77 6 0. This color resembles the depth of the sea, and its warm tone gives it an attractive and original touch. It combines perfectly with other shades of blue, such as turquoise, and with warmer tones, such as brown or beige. It can also be combined with black and white, to contrast and highlight.
The base fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing. This technique allows high-quality designs to be printed on fabrics and textiles, ensuring high durability and wash resistance.
The general characteristics of this fabric are its soft touch and its high resistance to wear and tear. It is ideal for making coats, boxes, jackets, and other high-quality fashion items, as well as for making home textiles, such as coasters.
In terms of applications and uses, this fabric is perfect for the winter and autumn/winter 2021 season, due to its high density and its ability to protect from the cold. It is especially suitable for making coats, trenches, jackets, vests, and blazers, as well as for high-quality fabrics used in religious altars.
For the care of this fabric, it is important to note that it does not allow dry cleaning and should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40°C. It should also be ironed at a low temperature and avoid the use of tumble dryers.
Regarding printing technology, sublimation (polyester) is used, which allows the color to be permanently fixed in the fabric, without the need for additional dyes. This technique ensures bright and durable colors, even after multiple washes. In summary, the fabric is designed to be resistant, durable, and attractive, perfect for making high-quality garments and home textiles.
